Given that Fairview’s temperature is often warm and “it doesn’t rain very frequently, but when it does, it pours,” it may be in the south. It hasn’t been particularly chilly or snowy. However, Fairview and the surrounding area have seen some very dangerous tornadoes. Additionally, Fairview has a marina and is located on the shoreline of a significant body of water (either the ocean or one of the Great Lakes). Cherry didn’t want Desperate Housewives to run past its prime, so the show was canceled after season 8.
