Both of Bree’s ex-husbands made attempts at reconciliation with her after she filed for divorce. Rex was successful, but Orson Hodge, her second husband, was not. Bree had an affair with Karl Mayer, her divorce attorney and the ex-husband of her friend Susan Delfino, during the dissolution of her second marriage. Bree did, however, remarry Trip Weston, her attorney, in the series finale, making him her third husband.
Of the four major housewives, Bree is the only one who does not appear in each episode.
