Fertilizing
Once a year, particularly in the summer, is the best time to fertilize String of Tears plants.
Apply a diluted, half-strength solution of a balanced, water-soluble fertilizer.
String of Tears plants should not be overfertilized as this might cause them to lose their form and become overly soft.
String of Tears plants do not require a lot of food, thus they can survive with much fewer regular feedings.
Potting and Repotting
Although they can be grown in pots, they thrive when rooted in well-draining soil.
