Why are my peace lily flowers small?

If you do decide to repot, give your plants a week to “acclimate” to your home or wherever you chose to put them. There are several “schools” of potting mixes, so do some study before deciding which one to use.
The greatest thing to look for is soil that does not retain moisture for an extended period of time. Water-retentive soil is bad because you want the roots to be able to breathe. I’m not recommending Al’s gritty mix, but it’s one you can get on these boards (it’s actually a “soil-free” mix you prepare yourself). My plants are grown with Miracle Gro Cactus & Succulent soil with washed perlite added for drainage.
I suggest do what works for you. When repotting, keep in mind not to leave too much space around the rootball (especially if you have water retentive soil). They claim you can use a large pot with the gritty mix and be fine, but I don’t, so I have to keep my plant pots tiny (my mix doesn’t dry up as quickly as Al’s, but it drains quicker than any other potting mix I’ve tried).
‘Peace Lilies’ prefer to be kept wet. Don’t let them dry out too much, but also don’t keep them moist. Watering frequency is determined by the soil, pot size, and lighting.
