Are species tulips replanted each year?

Tulips enjoy full sun to part shade as a general rule.

If you live in a mainly cloud-free region like New Mexico or Colorado, I’d say you need at least 4 hours of direct sunlight every day, but 6–10 hours of direct sunlight with some afternoon shadow is optimal.
