Chinese natives are allium chinense. It is mostly found in Japan, China, and many other tropical and subtropical regions of eastern Asia. It is widely grown as a vegetable in Asia for its leaves and bulbs. It is also known to be grown in various areas of India’s north-eastern provinces.

According to botany, Allium chinense is a biennial herb that grows an underground bulb into a blooming scape that is 20–40 cm tall and produces a cluster of leaves that are 15–35 cm long.

Growth and development: Following planting, a bulb’s growing point splits into a group of sprouting shoots, and the quantity and mass of its roots and leaves both expand quickly.
