Each year, daffodils of more than 60 different species are planted throughout the 1,800-acre Hubbard Park to produce a sea of beautiful yellow flowers. Typically, daffodils bloom from early April through mid-May. While we hope the flowers will be at their best during the Festival, we regrettably have no control over the weather. The Festival will go on even if the daffodils are not in bloom!
Please do not pick the daffodils or walk across them so that everyone can enjoy them. You’re permitted to snap photos of the daffodils, but only from the outside.

Connecticut springtime rapidly sets in when the snow melts, providing us with vibrant gardens, wide-open spaces, blossoming trees, and magnificent spring events. The dogwoods, tulips, daffodils, and cherry blossoms bloom between April and May. The biggest and greatest viewing possibilities are listed here, along with some recommendations for additional locations in Connecticut that are also starting to bloom.
