The Itoh Peonies, also known as intersectional hybrids, are a favorite among people who appreciate the vivid and exotic flowers of tree peonies yet favor the perennial growth cycle of herbaceous peonies. With their huge, double flowers, disease-resistant lacy, dark green leaves, and robust, domed growth habit, they frequently resemble tree peonies.
