Perfect Peony is a fantastic new smell from Bath & Body Works! Peony, natural apple oil, and vanilla sandalwood make up the light combination. Despite not being a fan of flowers, I thought this perfume was lovely, lively, and fresh. It’s ideal for Mother’s Day, Easter, and the springtime!
Perfect Peony is now available in travel-sized bottles of shower gel, lotion, and fine fragrance mist. A mini perfume spray and hand cream are also available. Soon, a full-sized perfume will be released!

Is the aroma of flawless peony pleasant?
PP begins with a clean, pleasantly green, sweet, and almost aquatic scent that makes me think of cucumber. PP is a likeable, uncomplicated, flower for the summer that is far from “perfect. I believe BBW has superior flowers (Japanese Cherry Blossom and Butterfly Flower come to mind).
Aah… I’m now using it and have received numerous praises from my friends. This one has a floral fragrance reminiscent of Victoria Secret. But the peony note is the most prominent. But it’s so seamless and flawless.
I’ve had it for literally years despite the fact that I barely use it and don’t like it. It smells so strongly of flowers and alcohol because it is so flowery.
I adore wearing this in the spring and summer as a mild perfume or as a pick-me-up. It has flowery and apple undertones. I nearly think the dry down smells like sweet tarts! I like this and will continue to use it.

I appreciate that it has a really floral, fresh aroma. After two to three hours, it dries and takes on a faint vanilla aroma. Despite the fact that I dislike vanilla, the aroma was so mild and unobtrusive that I accepted it. There is simply a faint, lingering sweetness at around 4-5 hours.
Overall, it’s a very fresh, feminine, young perfume that never fails to please me. It lasts around five hours on me. I have nothing negative to say. It’s not spectacular, but it’s also not bad. It’s great.
Beautiful perfume, but too delicate to use as a signature scent. Scent is gone 5 minutes after spraying, and it just faintly lingers on clothing for a few hours. I’m hoping to find a scent that is exactly like this one, but much stronger.

One of my personal favorites from the company and certainly one of their best floral scents.
It is a flowery perfume that is extremely light, easy to wear, and safe to wear whether you are in your late teens or late 50s. It also has a tinge of sweetness.
You might want to give this smell a try if you’re a bride seeking for a scent to wear on your special day.
When I initially sprayed it, I compared it to Gingham in certain ways. However, I prefer this one because I don’t like the aroma of Gingham’s dry down. Gingham is also considerably tastier and cozier. And almost entirely unisex. Regarding Perfect Peony, it has a floral, fresh, and somewhat sweet flavor.
I’ll say it lasts for no more than three hours, but if you use it with a body lotion or cream that has a similar scent, it might last 4-5 hours.
Why is B&BW so well-known? I worked hard to visit one of their businesses in the Galleria mall where I work, and I left absolutely perplexed. I tested this one and honestly believed it would be a scrubber, but happily it didn’t stay very long. It’s very difficult to explain to you. The only way I could describe it is as a really acrid flowery water. No vanilla scent to balance it could be detected. Peonies are a challenging floral to nail; if I remember correctly, some have no scent at all while others can be mildly spicy. As a result, peonies are essentially a perfumer’s interpretation of a floral. And the perfumer didn’t even bother to soften it; they just went pretty hard. Regarding B&BW, I’ll state that their salespeople are really aggressive. I can see why people buy; in fact, I nearly did it to avoid people from asking me what I was looking for. I was there because I didn’t know what I was looking for. To keep them away from me, I started carrying around a bottle of this, which I eventually used to spray myself. Before the checkout counters, which this particular store had three of, were herded me there using gorilla techniques, I departed. I believe that is why they are so well-liked.
Although the primary floral note has been changed, the scent’s white musk foundation is essentially the same, which is why it smells a *lot* like B&BW’s Rose perfume, which I’ve already evaluated. This isn’t a negative thing; you’re just forced to compare the two, especially if you own both at once. One notable variation is the addition of a faint fruity accent to the flowery aroma; I would have assumed it was apple, but kiwi makes sense too. Similar to Rose, it has a very creamy and delicate scent and is a crisp, clean floral that is perfect for any occasion. The one drawback of this blind purchase, if you prefer floral scents, is that it doesn’t linger very long—at least not on my skin.

Claire’s tips for growing peonies
- The planting hole should be large enough to easily fit the roots and the leaf buds should be no deeper than 2.5 cm below the soil’s surface.
- When the stems of taller varieties are about 15 cm high, support them.
- Feed with bonemeal or ordinary fertilizer in the spring every three years.
- Mulch as far away from the center crown as you can since organic material will scorch the spring buds that are just starting to emerge.
- To prevent illnesses, remove old leaves. Weather that is moist makes peony wilt worse. Infected sections should be thrown away far from the garden if it becomes a problem, or fungicide should be sprayed.
- In particular, provided they are not separated, peonies do not mind being transplanted. When dividing plants, between late October and the end of January, when they are dormant, be sure that each division contains at least three buds.
