The fact that oakleaf hydrangea is a native of the Deep South is one of its distinguishing qualities.
Although hydrangeas tend to be “easy-to-grow shrubs,” one severe illness is emerging as a result of the huge quantity of rain we’ve had recently. The numerous types of hydrangea are among the many plants in our landscape that are affected by the widespread disease known as cercospora leaf spot.
