Get a light wooden box at any hobby or home supply store. A wooden box can endure the pressure of being handled by the mail since it is strong. (A cardboard box can be damaged far too easily.) Your flowers must be completely dried before shipment, whether they are fresh or not.
Remove the flowers from the bouquet and hang them upside down on a typical clothes hanger in bunches or individually (no more than three flowers per bunch) to dry in a dark, cold, low-humidity area of your home. To fasten them to the hanger, use clips, string, yarn, ribbon, etc. To keep them straight and dry, the extra greenery and sprigs should also be hung upside-down. It’s okay if your bouquet has been preserved for months or even years.
Before delivery, make sure the flowers are fully dried after at least 3 weeks of drying. Pack your bouquet in paper that is ink-free (packing paper, copy paper, and paper towels work well). Fill up any empty spaces in the box with extra paper or peanuts. If mailing, be sure to use “fragile” stickers. Shipping should take two to three days. Please include your order number and your name (first, maiden/middle, and last) inside the box containing your flowers.
