- To begin constructing the petals, cut 12 lengthy strips of crepe paper. Crepe paper sheets should be folded lengthwise and folded repeatedly until you obtain a 3–4 inch wide strip.
- There is no need for a template for this step because you want the petals to be slightly varied sizes and shapes. Instead, use our mixed media shears to cut the petal form as shown.
