The Background
Start by embellishing the Pop Up Daffodil Card’s background. We choose basic green and blue paper. But you’re free to use whatever you like. Making this into a mixed-media craft with markers and watercolors, in my opinion, would be lovely. Later, you may include information like bees and ladybirds.
We only used a glue stick to attach a rectangle that was cut out that was 1 cm shorter in both the width and length!
The Paper Daffodil Petals
From your yellow paper, cut six petals for a daffodil. We quickly cut out the rest after sketching out one.
Place this in the card’s center, then arrange the six daffodil petals all around it and adhere them with adhesive.
The Paper Daffodil Centre
Mark the HEIGHT of your pop-up daffodil center (ours is about 5 cm?) on the orange paper. Then, add one centimeter to this measurement.
Cut a long rectangle that is 5 cm + 1 cm Plus the desired length. Again, we didn’t have an exact measurement; instead, we simply turned the strip back on itself until it was the right length.
after flattening the tube. Cut out two identical orange tabs that are 5-8mm broad in the precise center. They must be in the middle and across from one another; otherwise, opening and closing your card will be a hassle.
How may simple paper daffodils be made?
1. Begin with a 4 square piece of paper.
2. Fold diagonally in half.
3. Once more, fold diagonally in half.
4. And yet again.
5. Snip a hole in the tip and cut into a petal shape. To see the petals, open.
Cut the middle circle at this point to 2 1/2.
7. Dividing the circle in half.
8. Use the glue stick to cover one side of an edge with glue.
9. Construct a cone out of the half-circle.
10. Bring one of the pipe cleaner’s ends down.
11. Add some adhesive to the flower’s center.
12. To assemble, insert the cone into the flower’s aperture, thread the pipe cleaner through it, and then tie the pipe cleaner around the cone to secure it.
How are pop-up cards created?
Everyone loves puppies and kittens, right? With this puppy pop up card, you can give the animal lover in your life an additional dose of sweetness. If you customize it to resemble one of their dogs, you’ll definitely win extra points!
This pop-up card has a slightly different set of instructions from the others. You should fold each of the construction paper pieces along the black dotted lines rather than cutting slits in it.
- Attach the feet to the bottom of the card and adhere the tail side to the back.
- Attach the folded white piece with glue to the rectangle’s side. Connect to the card’s back side, overlapping the back legs.
- Attach the front feet to the bottom of the card and glue the front legs to the other side of the rectangle.
- Your puppy or kitten card is finished once the head is adhered with glue.
