How are pipe cleaner daffodils made?
A beautiful DIY Easter decoration, these gorgeous pipe cleaner daffodils are easy to make.
- Paintbrush
- Paint the top portion of the plant pot with a light pink color you’ve made by combining pink and white paint.
- The remainder of the flower container should be painted with a light purple color created by combining some purple and white paint. After allowing to dry, apply a second coat using both colors.
- Use a yellow pipe cleaner to make a circle by wrapping it around itself in a spiral. To hold the circle together, bend the pipe cleaner’s end around the piece next to it. To make five circles for the petals, repeat this process four more times.
- The center of the daffodil will be a 3D spiral made out of an orange pipe cleaner and your thumb.
- To make a shorter, more robust pipe cleaner for the stem, fold a green pipe cleaner in half and screw the two ends of the pipe cleaner together.
- With the help of the glue gun, arrange the yellow petals into a floral form. In the center of the yellow flower, adhere the orange spiral with glue. Next, flip the daffodil over and attach the green stem with glue.
- To make another pipe cleaner daffodil, repeat steps 3-6.
- Take two Superclay packets, and place them inside the flowerpot. Then, to secure the daffodil stalks in place, press them into the clay.
- Easter grass in green color should be spread on the clay.
Another green pipe cleaner should be wrapped around the stalks if they are bending to reinforce them.
