Necrozma must be captured and presented to Peony in order to finish the “Legendary Clue?” quest. Through Dynamax Adventure, Necrozma can be encountered at random, but be sure to speak to Peonia between each adventure. For five Dynite Ore, she will provide information on a certain Pokemon. If you’re lucky, she’ll tell you where the Necrozma is so you can be sure to run into one.
Show it to Peony after completing the Necrozma Dynamax Adventure and capturing Necrozma. The lead scientist will then speak with you in a cutscene and admit that the “Legendary Clue?” truly belonged to her. She gives you a Beast Ball and an Ability Patch as thanks for catching Necrozma.
How can Peonia reveal your Pokémon to you?
If they haven’t previously, players who have already caught Legendaries in Dynamax Adventures can invite their friends to catch the Pokemon. The technique listed below makes Peonia provide you a path for a Legendary you already own.
- Catch a Legendary in Dynamax Adventures as the first step.
- Step 2: Equip your first Party slot with the Legendary you want a place for.
- Talk to Peonia near the Max Lair entrance in step three. The path for the legendary that occupies the first spot in your party will be instantly sold to you by her.
- Step 4: Speak with the scientist and open the location you saved. To create a Link Code for your buddy, click the Plus button.

Where is Pokmon Peony?
Peony had always been likened to his brilliant brother Rose when he was younger. He finally become rebellious as a result of the repeated comparisons. The player character first encounters Peony in Slippery Slope, when he has a disagreement with her over the fact that she wants to visit Max Lair for Dynamax Adventures. The player character engages in combat with Peony in order to free Peonia from her custody. Regardless matter the outcome of the battle, he rushes to the Max Lair after finding Peonia is gone.
Peony encounters resistance from the head scientist in the Max Lair when she attempts to use a Dynamax Adventure as a pretext to locate her daughter. Peony uses the chance to travel further in search of Peonia after the scientist reveals the Dynamax Adventures’ rules to the player character. Peonia can be found in the center of the room, lying down, after the player has finished a Dynamax Adventure, found her, and returned to the lobby. The researcher alleges that he fell and hit his head after tripping over a pebble. He asks the player’s character to explore with him after hearing where Peonia is and realizing that she is not really interested in joining him on his “advent-tour.” He then hands the player his League Card. He directs the player character to the location of the town of Freezington outside the Max Lair.
Peony directs the player character to where he is waiting once they reach the settlement. He announces that the inn is now their base camp inside and outlines the plan of action for his exploratory team. Before awarding the player character the Expedition Uniform and three Legendary Clues, he bestows the title of Expedition Chief onto them. The Sacred Bones of Souverign and Steed! is the name of his first voyage. He hands the player a Master Ball before they depart.
Peony then occupies the inn’s upper-left corner. The Pokmon from the Legendary Clue can be used to demonstrate the player’s progress in each journey. An expedition is finished when all of the Pokemon have been caught.
The Sacred Bones of Sovereign and Steed!
Peony explains that the spherical object on the table is his pillow since he can sleep on it and that he used it as such because he forgot his original one at home. He nonetheless permits the player character to acquire the Wooden Crown in spite of this.
After defeating Calyrex, Peony reappears, startled by its “huge noggin.” Calyrex captures him to talk with the player character directly before he can flee. When the player character encounters Calryex a second time, he becomes possessed once more before being “awakened” once more and returning to the inn.
When the player character is in the mayor’s home, Peony himself reappears. He laments that the shower’s hot water appears to have run out. The mayor chooses to make a set of Reins of Unity for himself after learning that he is in trouble for doing it for the player character. He tells the player character outside that he took a shower because he realized he was sleeping outside once more, but the water was really cold. He was taken aback and jumped out before changing. Calyrex descends from the sky and takes control of his body before he can finish the dialogue.
When Calyrex tries to fuse with the steed during the event in Crown Shrine, Peony awakens. He is shocked that Calyrex has a ride, but he soon becomes Calyrex’s prisoner once more. It sends Peony back to Freezington before the battle in order to prevent “letting him freeze out in this freezing clime”.
The Terrible Titans… Lurking Locked Away!
Peony calls the player character as they move toward one of the ruins across the Crown Tundra. He says that the ruins are the home of the Legendary Giants, but no one has ever been able to open the doors that lead inside the ruins. He gives the quest the title The Terrible Titans… Lurking Locked Away! and leaves the player character to do the study. Every time one of the Legendary Giants is taken, he calls the player character on the phone; however, in the Split-Decision Ruins, the player is instructed to go see him instead.
A Legendary Tree of a Legendary Three!
Following the incident at Dyna Tree Hill, Peony answers her phone and reports that three bird Pokémon have appeared in the Galar region: one in the Wild Area, one on the Isle of Armor, and one in the Crown Tundra. He names this quest, intended to capture the three Pokmon, A Legendary Tree of a Legendary Three!, believing that they are the Pokmon he wrote about in Legendary Clue 3.
Peony congratulates the player character over the phone for the first two captures. The player is instructed to go report to Peony in place of the final capture.
He thanks the player character for finishing the adventures for him and hands up his valuable League Card after finishing all three chapters. Peonia shows up prepared to embark on the “Adven-tours,” but Peony, having run out of stories to investigate, promises to think of an adventure for “a nice father-daughter excursion” and provides her a costume. Peonia is immediately enraged by this and gives the player character the outfit—the Gold Expedition Outfit—after returning to Max Lair. In response, Peony follows her so they can spend time together.
The Legendary Clue? was supposedly left at the inn by Peony. The note should be delivered back to Peony by the player. Trainers flee the Max Lair after the player character gives Peony the Legendary Clue?, claiming “a horde of creatures” has appeared. Peony then launches a side quest called They Came from the Ultra Beyond! with the intention of catching the Pokémon that appears in the clue.
He doesn’t remember writing the enigmatic clue, but when you show him the Pokmon Necrozmat that the player caught in Dynamax Adventures, he considers the “adventure” to be finished. From behind, the scientist makes an appearance and claims that the paper is actually a note from her.
The player can either battle Max in his lair or present him with a Legendary Pokmon they have captured through Dynamax Adventures. He takes part in the Galarian Star Competition as well.
Peony tells Peony about a legend about a long-haired female ghost in the Old Cemetery. The “ghost” turns out to be just Oleana, who thought he was Rose. The player is irritated by Oleana’s false impression of him and the mention of his brother, which suggests that he and Rose dislike one another. He is perplexed that the sibling he despises so much can engender loyalty from her after hearing her scream that he is nothing like Rose and walk off before making a joke and leaving himself.
What happens if Peony Crown Tundra defeats you?
Your Pokdex will be updated with every new Pokemon the expansion introduces, including the most recent Legendary Pokémon, as soon as you get to the Crown Tundra. Given that every wild Pokemon there is approximately level 60, it initially appears like you shouldn’t be there. You can’t catch Pokemon in The Crown Tundra until you have earned all of the gym badges since the Pokémon’s levels don’t adapt to the player’s level.

After finishing all legendary missions, the player tries to take Peonia on a “advent-tour,” but they wind up heading to the Max Lair for Dynamax Adventures instead, where they learn that Ultra Beasts have taken up residence. He gives the player another assignment to find Ultra Beasts. Legendary Pokémon from the Dynamax Adventures can be captured by the player and shown to Peony, who will then comment on them differently. He can also be paired here every day.
In the narrative The Sacred Bonds of Sovereign and Steed!, Calyrex regularly takes possession of Peony and communicates with the player through his body.
Does Calyrex possess a secret talent?

Despite not being Ultra Beasts, Cosmog, Cosmoem, Solgaleo, Lunala, and Necrozma have a significant link to Ultra Space (including the capacity to construct Ultra Wormholes) and are frequently identified with or compared to the Ultra Beasts in various media.
