Does Lilac Street lashes allow for sleep?
- To remove any remaining eye makeup or natural oils, wash your lashes with your preferred eye makeup remover and then use our Lilac Lash Conditioning Primer.
- One eye at a time, work on it. Apply our Lilac Lash adhesive to your lashes as you would mascara, paying special attention to the base of your lashes on the eye you want to start with.
- Apply glue to the segments’ spines before attaching them to that eye. Allow the glue to dry and become tacky for about 15 seconds.
- Grab only the tips of the lash segments with your applicator so that the majority of the lash surface is visible.
- Apply the segment to your natural lashes by aligning the base of the lash segment with the beginning of your natural lashes, but without touching it. Whether you decide to apply the segments to the top or bottom of your natural lashes, they should be around 1-2mm away from your waterline. Particularly if you sleep on your side, we advise against applying the segments all the way to the outside corners to avoid having your pillow compress them.
- To allow the lash segment to adhere to the glue, hold it in place for around 3 seconds. If your first positioning isn’t great, you can gently shift the lash segment to find your preferred spot.
- While slightly overlapping the parts, keep adding more lashes. This keeps your look tight and flawless and enables them to support one another by holding on to one other.
- After you’ve applied each segment, seal the relationship between the segments and your lashes by applying a small coat of Lilac Lash Crystal Coat to the applicator’s interior. Additionally, part of the glue’s tackyness will be reduced as a result.
- To remove any remaining stickiness, apply a thin layer of Lilac Lash Crystal Coat to the top and bottom of your lashes. This will cover the entire surface of your lashes. To keep your lashes looking their best, you can replenish your Crystal Coat as often as you’d like.
You may have gotten too much glue on the applicator if the lashes are adhering to it as you fuse them together. To clean the applicator and try again, apply a little alcohol.
To prevent the lashes from adhering to the applicator, you may also try using Crystal Coat.
You ensure adhesion when the segments are overlapping, make sure to apply glue to both the corners and the spines of the segments.
You should replace your eyelashes in about a week because they can last up to 5-7 days. You can reapply the lash segments and dab some glue on them if they start to come loose sooner.
Avoid washing your eyelashes directly, especially if you’re using makeup remover or soap that contains oil. Use a washcloth to gently cleanse the region around the lashes before patting them dry. If not, use our Lilac Lash Bath kit. Once your lashes are dried, solidify the bond once more by fuse-fusing them with your applicator.
Your lashes won’t rub together when you sleep if you use a sleep mask.
How may Lilac Street lashes be made to last longer?
- Avoid getting wet or being around humidity after getting your eyelashes done.
