Today I’m going to explain to you how I utilize coffee as a fertilizer for plants. I realize that seems strange, but bear with me; I’ll try to explain.
The tip of the day for today is for all of you who have green thumbs, or perhaps for some of you who wish you did but don’t! Is coffee ground beneficial for geraniums?

Coffee Beans

Provide Full Sun

Deadheading

Apply High Potash Fertilizer
Feed geraniums a 9-6-12 mix to keep them blooming more. The high potassium concentration aids in photosynthesis by supplying nutrients evenly to every area of the plant. Dosage and directions should be found on the label.
Apply all-purpose liquid fertilizer that has been diluted to a fourth of its strength every 4-5 weeks while the plant is growing as well.
Water Only When the Soil is Dry
Keep the soil dry; geraniums are more susceptible to damage from overwatering than from underwatering. Remember to water when the topsoil feels a little dry to the touch. Ensure the container includes drainage holes as well.
Eggshells and Coffee Grounds
Who would have guessed that the breakfast leftovers would make the ideal fertilizer for your perennial plants? During the brewing process, the acidity of the coffee is lost, leaving you with nitrogen-rich grounds. Eggshells are a fantastic source of calcium to feed your soil and support the growth of your perennial plants. Before adding eggshells to your soil, smash them as much as you can because they can take a while to disintegrate.
Milk
Again, milk’s calcium content makes it an ideal fertilizer. It also makes it a safe and efficient natural fungicide. Paper Towels

Why are my geranium plant’s leaves becoming yellow?

When should coffee grinds be applied to plants?
