Is agave Low GI?
Agave has a lower glycemic index (GI) than table sugar because it contains less glucose. Is agave tequila kosher for Passover?
Liquor and liqueur goods, when consumed appropriately, can add to the Yom Tov “spirit.” These products, however, always require special Pesach certification throughout Pesach.
Liquor is a distilled alcoholic beverage that is not sweetened. Liqueur is the same distilled liquid as before, but with added sugars and flavoring ingredients. So how is alcohol manufactured?

Pesach-Kashered Equipment

Not only must the equipment be thoroughly cleaned before any kashering, but the odor must also be eliminated. To do so, the tanks must be boiled as many times as necessary with caustic or strong detergent until the odor is gone.
If cold liquid chametz is stored in a tank for less than 24 hours, the tank does not become chamatzdik under normal circumstances. The tank must be cleaned completely, but there is no need to kasher it with hot water. However, simply a few minutes of contact with alcoholic or fermented beverages will demand a full kashering.
Pesach Liqueur
Liqueurs can be created for Pesach if the added ingredients are also authorized for Pesach when starting with a Pesach-approved alcohol.
Sugar-based sweeteners must be used instead of corn sweeteners. For Pesach, flavors and colors must be authorized in advance.
In the case of cream liqueurs, the cream base (dairy or parve) must be approved for Pesach and free of non-Pesach emulsifiers or other ingredients.
Kosher Liquors And Liqueurs
Because alcoholic items are Pesach sensitive, additional Pesach supervision is always required. Many liquors are bulk exported abroad for bottling in multi-use facilities in today’s global market, with so many multi-national liquor corporations. To avoid chametz or other non-kosher impurities, equipment is frequently kashered.
Liquor makers and marketers, like many other items, frequently respond to kosher certification requests from kosher consumers both during Pesach and all year. If you want it to be kosher, ask for it.

Brandy. Brandy can be made from fruit wine or grape wine specifically kosher-processed wine and is commonly used for Pesach.
Are all tequila kosher for Passover?
For Passover, only Patrón silver tequilas (Core, Roca, and Smoky) are certified Kosher. Patrón Tequila may now be enjoyed by families as they assemble for the traditional Passover Seder and observe the eight-day Passover festival.
