This brush and paint set I ordered is the nicest thing I’ve ever bought! The watercolors are vivid and have good brush quality. If you are serious about painting with watercolors, you should finally buy watercolor paper; it is thicker and has a light texture, and your artwork will look fantastic on it.
Instructions:
We’re going to create lovely peonies in watercolor. When you get the hang of it, you can use any colors you choose after I’ve shown you the ones I used. They are the same steps.
Step 1: Create the center of the peony
A medium-sized brush should be dipped into a pale, watery peachy pink hue. Make a rough, round, backwards-C shape on the paper with your brush—it doesn’t have to be flawless! It shouldn’t be, in reality. Keep this section ethereal and light. This will serve as the open peony flower’s center.
Step 2: Create the petals surrounding the center
With the same brush and a darker pink color, paint small curve shapes all around the “C shape we made in step 1 now. These forms ought to be varied in size and rounded, like small smiles. With these “smiles,” you are essentially surrounding the center you have formed. Some of the shapes ought to expand like flower petals doing so.
Paint a petal with a more rounded form towards the front to give the flower more depth. It appears to be facing you. To create the appearance of extra petals at the back, you may also add two tiny frown shapes to the middle.
Step 3: Add the stamen
