How is lilac oil made for the skin?

It should come as no surprise that lilac is one of the most well-liked fragrances for skin care, candles, and perfume. You may easily recreate the fleeting springtime aroma of lilacs if you have access to fresh flowers.
By steeping crushed lilac blossoms in boiling water, you can create a fragrant lilac water. Lilac blooms should be placed in a heat-resistant container, then the container should be filled with boiling water. Wrap with foil or a tight-fitting cover to protect. Strain the liquid after it has totally cooled, then throw away the used flowers. Until you are happy with the intensity of the lilac aroma, re-boil the same water and repeat the procedure.

It will last a very long time if you use excellent quality coconut oil and essential oils. Eight months after I produced a sizable batch, I’m still using them!
Use
Apply a pea-sized quantity to your skin to use as lotion. On touch, it will become a liquid and quickly absorb into a matte texture. It won’t at all feel oily on your skin.
I apply this cream to my tummy, arms, legs, and face (when pregnant). I also apply it to my infant’s bottom and skin to prevent and treat moderate diaper rash.

You will only need a small portion of the ingredients for one 4 oz jar of lavender coconut oil lotion if you purchase the items listed above, which will cost you a total of $42.28 ($12.95 for 16 oz of organic virgin coconut oil, $13.34 for organic lavender essential oil, and $15.99 for 12 glass jelly jars). In actuality, you’ll just need 4 oz. of coconut oil ($3.24), 1/8 tsp. of essential oil ($1.67), and one container ($1.33). A jar of lavender coconut oil lotion will therefore cost you $6.24 and last a very, very long time.
I believe this cost is reasonable given the ease of receiving all the supplies at once, plus you may make more items with the leftovers to give as gifts. You can compare prices if you wish to save money. Stores like Target, Walmart, neighborhood health food shops, and grocery stores frequently sell coconut oil and jars of it.
STEP #5
Use a slow cooker to swiftly infuse them with flavor. Fill the bottom of the crock with a few inches of water and a folded hand towel. On top of the towel, position the jars.
At least half of the floral mixture should be submerged in water. Avoid getting water in the witch hazel or oil.
For 4 hours, set the slow cooker to low and let the water head the infusions. Covering with a lid could allow moisture to build and eventually drop into the jars, so avoid doing so.
Another option is to simply cover the lilacs, oil, and/or witch hazel with a lid and leave them to steep for up to two weeks in a cold, dark place. Every day, give them a gentle shake.
How is lilac toner made?
- Lilac blossoms should be dried overnight on paper towels until they are just beginning to wilt.
- Put the blossoms in a jar, then fill it with witch hazel and water. Make sure the liquid thoroughly envelops the blooms. Add extra witch hazel if necessary.
- Put the lid on the jar and keep it out of direct sunlight in a warm place.
- Allow the mixture to steep for two weeks, carefully stirring the liquid every so often.
- Pour the face toner into a fresh jar or spray bottle after straining the contents. The spent blossoms can be composted.
After washing your face, spritz or apply lavender toner with a cotton ball. If desired, keep chilled. The toner only needs to be kept in a cool location because the alcohol in witch hazel serves as a preservative.
