But because most Draconids were still in mourning over Aster and saw Zinnia combining her own objectives with the position, they did not really acknowledge her. Zinnia became anxious as the predicted arrival of a second massive meteor drew near and initially sent her Salamance to the location where Rayquaza was being held. Salamence managed to complete its task and free Rayquaza from the control of the Pokmon Association, despite the setback of Ruby attacking and defeating it. She then intended to summon Groudon and Kyogre in an effort to entice Rayquaza out so she could form a bond with it. She did this by sneaking into Team Magma and telling Maxie about the Blue and Red Orbs before leaving. Unfortunately for her, Rayquaza chose to temporarily soar with Norman and Ruby in try to halt the devastating conflict between the legendary Pokémon.

In front of Ruby as she left the Sky Pillar were three Draconids. Ruby assumed they were referring to Zinnia’s Whismur because they said Aster was their true lorekeeper. They clarified, however, that Aster was actually a human and a Draconid who had died, leaving Zinnia as her successor. [5]
When Mr. Stone’s plot to halt the meteorite was foiled, Team Aqua and Magma grunts, together with Zinnia, went to Sea Mauville. A Plusle and a Minun intervened to stop Aster from stealing Mr. Stone’s Dimensional Shifter, and they gave it to Sapphire. [6] Sapphire saw Zinnia was there just before the rocket launch at Mossdeep Research Center, and Steven recalled that she had come to Sea Mauville together with Aster, Team Aqua, and Magma grunts to thwart their scheme. [7]
Aster was with Zinnia as she observed Ruby and Sapphire smash the meteorite in space with Rayquaza before it crashed upon the planet.

The player will be informed by Steven that Soul Dew is thought to be the condensed spirits of Latias and Latios, and that it has the power to unleash their full potential. When the player steps outdoors, LatiasSS or LatiosHG will be waiting to engage in combat in Pewter City after being attracted to them by the Soul Dew.
