I recently purchased two white hydrangea stems from Trader Joe’s, chopped the stems to a length of around 6 inches, and then arranged the flowers in a small circular glass vase. They lasted MORE than a week and looked stunning wherever I placed them, from the kitchen to the dining room. They were also $6.99, which seems outrageous for just two flowers, but given how fluffy they are, it would have taken a lot more flowers—at least a dozen roses—to achieve the same effect.
